This will maximize your potential resources and give you more to work with. When you’re no longer able to hit it, eat something and destroy the rock. The hole will prevent you from going back, allowing you to hit it up to eight times total. After, use your shovel to attack the rock. Technically you can do it with just two, though I suggest the third to be safe. To maximize effectiveness, dig three holes a single space behind you. ![]() In this episode, I build the shop for Timmy (Nook's Cranny) by collecting 30 of each wood and 3. Obtaining Iron NuggetsĪt this point you want to locate all the rocks on the island. You’ll need 30 of each kind of wood plus 30 iron nuggets. The biggest reason to collect iron nuggets is to prepare for Tom Nook’s store upgrades. They can also be used to craft multiple types of DIY Tables. Shortly into your adventure in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you should get the option to build the full shop and/or the DIY instructions to make decent equipment. ![]()
